2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To deliver SMS rain alerts to your phone number when qualifying weather events occur at your monitored site(s).
• To generate timestamped compliance reports (PDFs) containing weather data, your submitted photos, and GPS coordinates.
• To send you account-related emails such as reports, receipts, and service updates.
• To monitor weather conditions at your designated site locations using third-party weather APIs.
• To improve our service, troubleshoot issues, and respond to your support requests.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share limited information with the following service providers solely to operate the MudLog service:

• Twilio: To deliver SMS messages to your phone number.
• Weather data providers: We send your site's GPS coordinates (not your personal information) to obtain precipitation data.
• Payment processors: To process subscription payments (when applicable).
• Cloud hosting providers: To host and serve the MudLog platform.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of MudLog, our users, or the public.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you cancel your subscription or request deletion of your data, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes.

Compliance reports (PDFs) are retained for a minimum of 3 years to support your stormwater compliance record-keeping needs, unless you request earlier deletion.

5. SMS/Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in to MudLog alerts, you consent to receive automated SMS text messages related to rain-triggered stormwater inspection requirements. These messages are operational alerts, not marketing.

• Message frequency varies based on weather events at your site(s).
• Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any MudLog message.

• Your phone number and opt-in consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Cookies and Tracking
